Building Above And Beyond Code

After building for over 30 years, Carbine & Associates has a process which has been an evolution, James explains.

You don’t just build to code, says Carbine company president, James Carbine.  “You have a certain standard and quality you want to achieve.  We make sure things are right.”

“My father was a home builder, so my brothers and I grew up working with him in the field.  You don’t just build to code.  You have a certain standard and quality you want to achieve.  We make sure that if things aren’t right, they are corrected,” James said.

Homes are built to an international home building code, James shared.  “Some builders will use code as quality control.  Carbine goes above and beyond code to make sure it reaches Carbine’s standards.”

Carbine Difference

The biggest difference in a Carbine home is the end result – a beautiful home which make our clients  proud, says James.  “The process is an evolution.  Carbine partner Daryl Walny is a stickler for detail.  His motto is you inspect every bit of work, in every house, every day. This takes care of any quality issues.”

Communication is also key to the building process.  “We work hard with our clients to set expectations level from the initial meeting to the selection process keeping the project on time and on budget,” James explained.

Homeowners Should Consider Home Resale

Before choosing a builder, remember one day you will be selling that home, James advises.

“I would encourage all homeowners to remember one day you will be selling that home.  For most of us, it is our largest investment so future value is important,” James said.

He shared in the interview about recently buying back a Carbine home as an investment.  “The home was inspected and came back with no problems.  This definitely pleased our entire team.”
