Carbine & Associates boasts some of Middle Tennessee’s most experienced home builders and was founded by James Carbine and the late Denzel Carbine. Originally from Florence, Alabama, James earned a bachelor of business administration degree from Auburn University. As a long-time home builder, he continues the quality, elegance and passion for building synonymous with his early partnership with his brother.
Today, Carbine & Associates is an award-winning team considered top Middle Tennessee home builders. Using transparent cost control, superior project organization and attention-to-detail, their years of proven building experience and creativity help them say “yes” throughout construction process. And, their excellent communication helps customers understand the building process and their careful budgeting.
After being the cover feature for Traditional Home Magazine’s O’More Show House project, Carbine was selected to build the 2014 HGTV® Smart Home. Giving back to their community and honoring our military, the Carbine team built an Operation FINALLY HOME for a decorated war veteran and his family in the Kings’ Chapel community.
James is a lifetime director of Middle Tennessee, state and national Home Builders Associations. Currently he serves as a National Association of Home Builders Area 7 Chairman for Tennessee and Alabama. He is a director and past president of House for Hope Foundation, a home building related nonprofit with children’s charities as the primary beneficiary. In 2017, celebrating Carbine’s 30th anniversary, Carbine launched the House for Hope Designer Show House.
