Born and raised in the suburban Detroit town of Roseville, Michigan, Daryl earned a bachelors degree in construction management from Michigan State University and has held a residential building license for almost two decades. As a company partner and vice president of operations, he oversees Carbine’s Middle Tennessee building and holds the distinction of a General Contractors’ Commercial License. In day-to-day operations, he has established a purchasing and management system for Carbine.

Spearheading an initiative to give back to our community, Daryl oversaw Carbine’s 2014 build of a mortgage-free home for Operation FINALLY HOME, a nonprofit organization which builds custom homes for wounded, disabled veterans and their widows. A charming French Country home with Tudor accents was built in the Kings’ Chapel community for former Staff Sergeant Luke Van Dorston and his family and Daryl is honored to call them friends today.

The project earned national awards including a Judge’s Special Award of Excellence and Silver Award from the National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) National Sales and Marketing Council (NSMC). Locally, Daryl was named Franklin Tomorrow’s Corporate Volunteer of the Year.

In his spare time, Daryl and wife, Kelsey, have a family farm in Primm Springs, affectionately known as Broken Toe Farm.
