Where should you put it? Anywhere! An outdoor rug isn’t used for the same purposes as an indoor rug (except that the dog will probably lay on it no matter where it is), so you can make it a decorative highlight near your door, beneath your table, or in a big, open space.

While your patio probably provides you with plenty of scenery, it’s also the perfect place to put container plants.
