Custom Home Advice – Wrapping up the Process and Moving In

Before long, you’ll be settling into your own Middle Tennessee custom home – and here’s what the final weeks before the big day will look like.

Project Cleanup

Our crews will go through your home to clean the floors and windows, pick up construction debris and make sure everything is in good order. Our professional cleaning crews will make sure there’s no dust (construction is a messy process) and that your fixtures are gleaming. We’ll make sure your new home is spotlessly clean and ready for move-in.

Final Inspection: You’re Almost There

We’ll schedule the final inspection to make sure that everything meets your approval and that your home is built to Carbine & Associates’ highest standards.

Perhaps the most exciting part of the wrap-up is your final walkthrough. All those lines on paper have become your new home. You can use this time to ask questions, make sure that everything is perfect and address any concerns that you have based on the walkthrough.

Move-In Day

Once we hand you the keys to your custom house, you’ll be able to bring in your furniture, art and other belongings and turn it into a home.

Your movers will probably appreciate a cooler of water and soft drinks near the front door while they’re doing all that heavy lifting. Be on-hand to direct traffic so that furnishings and boxes find their way to their proper rooms.
